Units

Welcome to my Games Development Portfolio! This page contains several units, each covering an essential aspect of the game development process that I have learnt at Fareham College, such as programming in C++, game design principles, audio and visual design, and much more. These units provide a comprehensive guide for those interested in the field of game development. Click on any of the links below to navigate to the specific unit you want to read about.

Unit 1

Unit 1: Programming in C++

C++ is one of the most popular programming languages in the world, used to build everything from simple system utilities to complex video games. In this unit, I will show what I have learnt about the fundamentals of the C++ programming language, including its syntax, data types, control structures, and functions.

Project 1

Project 1: STAR WARS: Andor

Welcome to Project 1 of my Games Development Portfolio, titled STAR WARS: Andor. I was tasked with creating a game that explored the theme of ‘Good vs Evil.’ In this project, I chose to venture into the Star Wars universe and create a video game based on the character of Cassian Andor, played by Diego Luna in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Our game puts the player in the shoes of Andor as he embarks on a dangerous mission, battling against the forces of the Galactic Empire and fighting for the cause of the Rebellion.
